Lexington, KY (July 17, 2024) - The United States Dressage Federation™ (USDF) is pleased to announce the riders that will represent the United States in the 2024 Discover Dressage/FEI North American Youth Dressage Championships presented by USDF, held during the FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC). The competition will be held July 30- August 4, at Great Lakes Equestrian Festival (GLEF), in Traverse City, MI, with a total of 44 youth, age 14-21, from across the country competing. Young equestrians vie for team and individual medals in the  Olympic equestrian disciplines of show jumping and dressage. . The competition is run under the rules of the FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale), the international governing body for equestrian sport, and is the only FEI championship held annually on this continent.

When discussing this year’s event, USDF FEI Youth Committee Chair Roberta Williams had this to say, "To say that I am looking forward to this year's NAYC returning to the idyllic venue of Flintfields Horse Park in Traverse City, Michigan is an understatement. With projected highs in the mid 80's and lows in the 60's, we are going to have ideal competition weather for both horses and riders. Who could ask for a better location for the best of our youth to compete against other countries as they represent not just their Regions, but they represent the United States as well in this all-important FEI Continental Championship? A big thank you to all the volunteers who have made this journey for the riders possible and who continue to champion these kids who are the future of our sport."
